Statement
空気を入れ、形を作る。留まった形に熱を与える。作られた形は溶けることで変形し、揺らぎながら窯から現れる。
その繰り返しの中で形は変わり続け、作られたことの境界は曖昧になっていく。私による形は溶けることで輪郭を失い、
構造となって素材へと埋没していく。私の行為は素材への形跡となり、造形の主体は私から素材へと移行していくような
感覚を覚える。そして最後に現れてきた形を眺めながら、それ生み出したものごとへの想いを巡らせる。
I blow into the glass, giving it shape. I apply heat to the cooled, motionless form. It melts and shifts, swaying as it emerges from the furnace.With each cycle, the shape continues to change, and the trace of my hand fades. The outline dissolves, becoming part of the material itself.It feels as if the act of creation shifts from me to the glass. As I look at the final form,
I reflect on what brought it into being.
